Handyman Technician and Operations Lead
Location: Naperville, IL
Compensation: $30/hour + Performance Bonuses
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Training: One week of travel required for initial training

We are looking for a skilled and highly reliable Handyman Technician and Operations Lead who understands the importance of doing the job right the first time. You will be working closely with the owner to help establish and grow the business. If you take pride in your work, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to help build something from the ground up, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do
• Perform a variety of handyman and home repair tasks, including carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Arrive on time, every time, because reliability builds trust with our customers.
• Complete jobs with precision and attention to detail, ensuring the work is done right the first time to exceed customer expectations.
• Go above and beyond for customers, ensuring every job leaves them satisfied and ready to refer our services.
• Work closely with the owner to develop processes and expand the business.
• Use scheduling and dispatch technology to optimize job flow and ensure efficiency.
• Train and support additional technicians as the company grows.
• Manage materials, tools, and supplies to ensure smooth job execution.
• Help drive 5-star reviews and customer referrals through top-tier service.
• Assist in local marketing efforts to increase brand awareness and attract more clients.
• Represent the company with professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to excellence.
• Who We’re Looking For
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 3+ years of experience in home repairs, maintenance, or construction.
• Highly reliable and punctual – You show up on time, ready to work every day.
• Customer-obsessed – You go the extra mile to ensure every customer is happy.
• Committed to quality work – You take pride in getting the job done right the first time.
• Someone excited about growing a new business and playing a key role in its success.
• Tech-savvy – comfortable using scheduling apps, invoicing software, and customer communication tools.
• Excellent communication skills – ability to build trust and relationships with clients.
• Reliable transportation – ideally a van or truck to transport tools and materials.
• Must have own tools for a variety of handyman jobs.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Willing to travel for one week of training.
