This is a 1099, part-time, independent contractor position for individual tradespeople only (no companies or crews please).
House Doctors of Scottsdale is looking for skilled, reliable handymen and home repair specialists who want flexible, part-time work to grown into full-time and the support of a reputable, professional brand. As a House Doctors independent contractor / 1099, you’ll complete residential repair and maintenance jobs for our clients. We provide the leads, handle billing and customer service, and you focus on delivering quality work.

What We Require
- Carry your own general liability insurance
- professional appearance and customer service – represent House Doctors brand
- Your own tools and a reliable work vehicle
- Ability to use ServiceTitan/Housecall Pro on your phone/tablet
- Valid general liability insurance in your name
- Applicable trade licenses (where required by law)
- Willingness to complete a background check (if not already done)
- Signed subcontractor agreement and W-9 for 1099 setup

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in handyman/home repair or related trades
- Skills in carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, installs, etc.
- Tech-savvy and organized
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Customer rapport and upselling (bonus opportunity)
- Valid driver’s license and clean record
- Will to take background check
