WHO ARE WE?

House Doctors is a national professional handyman and home improvements company. Our St Peter's location has been servicing the St Charles county and West County areas for 18+ years (St Charles, St Peters, O'Fallon, Lake St Louis, Wentzville, Chesterfield, Town and Country, Wildwood, Maryland Heights, etc.)

We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working with customers on various home improvement projects that involves carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing and electrical, flooring, tile, and full home remodels. Exterior experience (siding, trim, deck, fence, etc) will be a plus!

This position is for highly organized and customer centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is an asset, but not required - basic construction skills are necessary. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast-growing company. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks that involves variety of skills (carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, tile, plumbing, electrical, siding, deck/fence, full remodels, etc.) 
  • Deliver top quality work and excellent customer experience on-time and on-budget.
  • Either work independently with minimum supervision, or as part of the on-site team, depending on the daily schedule.  
  • Maintain clean, organized and safe job site, workshop and company vehicle
  • Accurately manage job related tasks, materials, and paperwork
  • Communicate and coordinate with manager and office team on job status and schedules
  • Follow company procedures and guidelines
  • Assist in other company business related activities as needed
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of home repair and remodel field experience
  • Multi-skilled in some of the following trades: 
    • Carpentry (doors, trim, cabinetry, framing, crown, deck/fence repair/build, etc.)
    • Light Plumbing (faucets, sinks, toilets, shower fixtures, etc. )
    • Light Electrical (outlet/switch replacement, light fixture installation, etc.)
    • Drywall (repairs, hang, finish, etc.)
    • Painting (painting, staining, brush/roll, spray, texture, etc.)
    • Tile (flooring, shower, backsplash, etc.)
    • Flooring (tile, floating, LVT, hardwood etc.)
    • Exterior (small repairs for siding/soffit/fascia/vents, metal wrapping, trim repairs, painting, etc.)
    • Specialty (deck/fence full build, porch columns, etc.)
    • Full remodels (bathroom, kitchen, basement, room addition, etc.)
    • Handyman repairs and maintenance tasks (residential, light commercial, etc.)
  • Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
  • Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
  • A strong work ethic and highly dependable
  • Able to do physical labor work including bending, lifting (75+ lbs), and handling tools
  • Driver's license is required

Compensation: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
