Hiring multi-skilled craftsman/professional handyman to join our team as independent contractor (1099). We do various home repair and remodel jobs in the St Charles county and Chesterfield/West County areas. Work ranges from changing a faucet to full remodels, from repairing a few deck boards to full deck build.  

Enjoy the hands-on home repair and remodel work, take pride in your work and reputation, but tired of doing all aspect of running a business? Rather do the work yourself to ensure quality and productivity? Wish there is a local support team that can take a load off your shoulder? This may be a good fit!

Work and paid by the job (1099). Paid weekly.

Part time to start. Can pick up more jobs if it is a good fit!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete various residential and commercial handyman repairs, maintenance, small to medium home improvement jobs. Jobs typically involve various skills: such as carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing and electrical, flooring, decks, fence, small siding repairs, deck/fence repairs & rebuilds, bath and kitchen remodels, etc. The more skills you have, the more jobs can be available for you.
  • Deliver excellent work quality and customer service
  • Keep a clean and safe job site
  • Represent House Doctors STL on our jobs.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Driver's License is required
  • General Liability and Workers Comp are required as 1099.
  • 7+ years of home repair and remodel experience
  • Multi-skilled in some of the following: carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, tile, light electrical, light plumbing.
  • Siding repairs or commercial maintenance and build-out experiences are a plus.
  • Prove hands-on skills with good knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman and home improvement industry
  • Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
  • Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
  • A strong work ethic and highly dependable
  • Able to do physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), safely working on ladders, and handling tools

Compensation: $800.00 - $2,400.00 per week
