RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete various repair and remodel jobs that involves carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, light electrical and plumbing, etc.
- As experienced carpenter, lead jobsite tasks as needed.
- Organize and manage materials and equipment for the jobs as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized and safe jobsite.
- Keep the company vehicle that you drive clean and tidy.
- Coach and lead junior team members as needed.
- Effectively communicate with customers, management team, office staff and vendors.
- Follow company process and procedures.
- Representing House Doctors in the local community and networking with potential customers as needs arise
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 to 7+ years of field experience in the home construction, repair & remodel industries.
- Well skilled in 1 or more of the following areas and willing to learn more skills:
- CARPENTRY (framing, trim, cabinets, baseboards, crown, doors, windows, cabinets),
- DRYWALL (hang, tape, finish, texture)
- PAINTING/STAINING (brush/roll, spray)
- FLOORING (LVP, hardwood, stair systems)
- TILE (floor, shower walls, backsplash)
- light PLUMBING,
- light ELECTRICAL
- Remodels (kitchen, bath)
- Basement finishing
- Deck building
- Siding/fascia/soffit/metal wrap
- Full remodel experience (bathroom, kitchen, basement, deck, etc.)
- Hands-on with good understanding of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in residential construction.
- Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
- Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
- A strong work ethic and highly dependable
- Able to do physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
- Driver's license is required

Compensation: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
House Doctors is a professional handyman service company specializing in both home repairs and full remodel jobs in St Charles county and West County areas.
We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working on variety of home repair and full remodel projects such as carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing and electrical, flooring, decks, fence, small siding repairs, bath and kitchen remodels, etc.
