POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is for a Senior Handyman Professional. Highly organized and customer-centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is required - construction skills are necessary. We are looking for candidates who are experts across a wide variety of handyman work, including drywall repair, door repair & installation, basic carpentry, deck, patio, and fence repairs. Candidate must have expertise in many of these areas and also serve as a mentor/coach in a team environment with junior technicians. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast growing company.
House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs in the Virginia Beach area. We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working on various home improvement and maintenance projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completing handyman and home improvement projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.
- Organizing and managing equipment required to complete daily tasks
- Working with clients to provide exceptional customer service. We put people first.
- Representing House Doctors in the local community, and networking with potential customers as needs arise.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of labor or customer service experience
- Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry
- Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems
- Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
- A strong work ethic and highly dependable. We take extreme ownership to deliver an exceptional consumer experience.
- Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
- Valid driver's license
- Must have your own tools
